Ach Jan, 4Images macht so richtig Spaß ich komm kaum noch vom Computer weg ;)

Jetzt hab ich mir ImageMagick runtergeladen und würde das gerne installieren, bin aber vom ersten Umfang irgendwie völlig erschlagen.

Muss das Prog auf dem Server im WWW oder lokal auf Festplatte instlliert werden?

Gibt es da ne deutsche Anleitung im WWW?

halli hallo,

das ImageMagick muss natürlich am Server(WWW) installiert werden(dafür brauchst aber den root(ADMIN) zugang vom Server) um die Thumbnails erstellen zu können.

oder man hat vielleicht bereits GD am server, einfach mal ausprobieren...

Ich meinen Webspace bei Strato.

Hab ich da Root-Rechte? Ich denke nicht?

Weiss Jemand, ob Strato GD hat?

Hab ich sonstige Alternativen?

also root rechte wirst du bei strato sicher nicht haben...

laut einen beitrag hat strato GD installiert ->
in den einstellungen GD auswählen, wenn beim klick auf "Auto-Thumbnailer" kein warnhinweis kommt, dann ist es installiert.

Hallo, ich bin sagen wir mal komplett "neu" auf dem Gebiet, würde aber auch gerne ImageMagick-5.4.6 installieren.

Was ist ein GD - wohl kein FTP  :?:  *GELL*

Also, könnte mir mal kurz jemand was dazu sagen (TELNET? - aber auch kein Plan)...

telnet (1)           - user interface to the TELNET protocol

ssh (1)              - OpenSSH secure shell client (remote login program)

Danke für die ausführliche Antwort, hab ein wenig länger gebraucht um zu raffen, was Du damit sagen wolltest, aber jetzt hab ich´s...

Inzwischen konnte ich auch feststellen, dass GD drauf ist und hab das nun auch so eingestellt ;-)

Funktioniert zwar trotzdem nicht, aber ich meine hier gerade was gelesen zu haben, dass die Bilder FREISCHALTBAR sein MÜSSEN, da es sonst nicht geht. - Sprich wenn der Admin nicht über FTP hochlädt, werden die Bilder gleich freigeschaltet und Thumbnail ist nicht mehr möglich...

RICHTIG?
