Disable Registrations

Is there a way to Diable Registrations? and i want to hide REGISTERED USERS section on the left. If i delete it from HOME.HTML is there a way to login in from some where else?

u can login from acp (Admin Control Panel)

remove {lang_registered_user} & {user_box}
in
postcard_create / register / search / top / categories / details / error / home / lightbox / member / . html

or replace content of user_loginform.html with e little menu for example
