When edit category, move to top of the list.
« on: April 05, 2005, 07:46:12 AM »
I have a ton of photos and categorys. when i move categories around, i want it to place the moved category to the top, not bottom of the list. is there a mod for this. i know i can manually bump it up, but some categories have 20 sub categories....

thanks

that is correct. when i move a category and make it a sub, i want it to appear at the top, so basically, the new photos and categorys will be listed first. that way it shows up on the index page under the category listing. - also on a side note, i have to do this cause i use batchzip mod, when i import it ask what category to put new pics under, but it never does, just puts it under the root so then i move it

I dont remmember if I fixed that function on my site, or it worked fine by itself, but try to uncomment (remove //) in admin/categories.php:
Code: [Select]
  //show_custom_row($lang['cat_order'], get_cat_order_dropdown($cat_parent_id));
Your first three "must do" before you ask a question:
