Problem when creating thumbnails

I've had 4Images installed for a few days, and it works great.  Only thing is, when I go to "Auto-Thumbnailer", and create thumbnails, sometimes it won't create a thumbnail.  It doesn't say an error message or anything, just for example:

"Create thumbnail for: photo (photo.jpg) .... "

But it doesn't say "Thumbnail Created!" like it does for the ones that work.  When I go into my albums, this is what I get for a thumbnail for the ones that don't work:



I'd love to know why this happens and how I can fix the problem.  Thanks!

did u check data/thumbnails folder?

have the same problem and i checked the data/thumbnail folder and everything was fine and the chmod was set to 777 but it didnt worked... Later I deleted all folders and created new ones with chmod 777 but i didnt worked...dont know why....

then there is something wrong with your graphic tool (module), the one that u use to create thumbnails. Perhaps u should contact your hoster..

i dont think that the graphic tool is the problem because the same program works with my other 4images gallery

I've two different galleries on two different servers and also the gd program on each server... but one gallery wont create thumbnails although i tried with both gd tools. Also both gd tools work great with the first gallery....it sounds crazy i know

why its sounds crazy? you are talking about completly different two servers, each of them might configured differently, why whould u think they are identical?
as I said, there is something wrong with your graphic tool, contact your hoster.

so the graphic tool from one server works with the gallery from the other server but not with the gallery on the same server? for me it sounds crazy....

I have the same problem, but I have two gallerys on the same server. The one works without error and the other has the same problem. I click on "create thumbnail" and nothing happens (except I make them one by one but it can't convert more than one thumbnail at the same time)
It's really strange cause it works the whole time and now without changing anything it don't work anymore...


*sorry* the problem is solved the images just where to big!
