Will watermarking destroy IPTC data?

Similar to my previous post, if I install the Watermarking MOD, will that save the IPTC data in the image files?

No because packages like GD, NetPBM, etc generally do not support reading or writing IPTC data although NetPBM has an add-on library for EXIF.
