Possible to change the different number of pic per row?

Is that possible to change the different number of pics per row? Say in the first row it will show 3 thumbnails,  and show 4 thumbnails in the second row and 2 thumbs at the third row?

I think it's little bit plain to show the same number of thumbs at the different rows.

unfortunetly 4images creates vertical columns of the categories, not horisontal rows...

what about creating different numbers  of thumbs at different colum? say 2 thumbs at the first colum,  4 at the second colum and 3 thumbs at the third colum, This way can make the thumbs looks more appealing.
