Auto-Thumbnialer & Auto-Resizer Blank pages
« on: March 22, 2003, 05:27:46 PM »
This just started happening sort of all of a sudden..  what happens is when I got to the Admin Section, upload some files, and try to Thumbnail them, I click on the Auto-Thumbnailer link to take me to the thubnailer.php, and all I get is a blank page now.. same with the Auto-resizer.

They seemed to work fine..  then I upgraded PHP to the latest stable release, and now it won't thumbnail at all!

I am using the latest ImageMagick.. I also use Yuaws Portal for IBF 1.1, and have integrated 4Images into it just fine.  I also use MySQL's latest stable release as well.

I am running a Win2k Server with IIS..

I ahve downlaoded and installed the settings.php patch already found here on this site..

The location of the site where you can see the 4Images gallery installed and working, but without the working thumbnailer etc, is here:

http://www.kramerandtwitch.info/4images/index.php

Thanks for any help.. let me know if you need anything..

Thanks.. that seemed to take care of the issue..

Now if I could just figure out why I get a java issue when running an include of the Random.php, I'd be all set  :)

Thanks for the fix!

All of a sudden I get the following error when trying to auto-thumbnail

GD library error.
Check module settings.

Autothumbnail just stopped working today. I haven't made any changes at all. I tried to seach for the above patch that you mention settings.php but it seems like trying to find anything on this site is the proverbial needle in a haystack.

I tried to edit the file image_utils.php.... no success at all... same error.

Do you host on your own server?  If not, you might want to call your host and see if they didn't upgrade to the latest PHP version.. there are some other changes they might need to make to teh PHP.INI

Just a thought  :)

Can you tell me specifically what I can change if the php has been upgraded? If someone can give me a link.

Where can I find that patch you mentioned? I can't find ANYTHING on this site.
