How to connect user & pass with existing forum user & pass

How can I use existing user and password from YABB SE (Yet Another Buliten Board), so user don't has to re-register.

there is no integration mod for YaBB SE (yet).

I dont know, only few people (including myself) asked about it...
and I remmember, someone mentioned, that the only difficult for it is password encoding...

I noticed this thread was posted some time ago and I still can not find the answer.
I am using Yabb2RC3 and wonder whether anyone has finally managed to write a mod or achieved in using the YaBB user/password.
