Templates? ;)
if u installed http://4homepages.de/forum/viewtopic.php?t=769 templates, then u'll need do some changes (u'll need look in default templates and see what's missing). Last time I try Vienix's templates, they were for 4images v1.6 and didnt support users image/comments editing.

in comment_bit.html and details.html templates (maybe somewhere else too) u'll need add this:
Code: [Select]
{if admin_links}{admin_links}{endif admin_links}

Actually,
Code: [Select]
{if admin_links}{admin_links}{endif admin_links}will only work if your users are set up as 4images administrators.

Go here
http://www.vierstra.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=77

There are detailed instructions for updating the templates to work with 1.7
No surprisingly, the templates that need updating are:

member_editimage.html
member_deleteimage.html
member_editcomment.html
member_deletecomment.html

No, this works for both admin and member.
Deppence on user level it will show different links (if ADMIN, then will point to admin control panel "edit image" or "edit comments", if MEMBER, then will open edit page for member.)

Thanks for the info.  I was actually questioning that myself after I made my post.

Hi everyone! I'm having this exact problem and, yes, I am using one of those templates.
I'm actually having quite a few problems with it :\
http://www.vierstra.com/4images_templates_2.htm (the one at the very top)

The link posted in this topic about how to fix the problem no longer works, and I was not able to find it by searching because i'm not entirely sure what i'm looking for. Can anyone help me? If not by finding the new URL of the topic, or by giving me instructions. Or should I be harassing the person who made those templates? Thank you :)

*LMFAO* what the heck are you talking about?
This topic IS the topic to fix my problem.
I simply asked that the LINK that helped previous people NO LONGER WORKS and would like someone to help me.

Anyway, I asked that question A MONTH AGO.
I don't really care anymore :P
The support here sucks *L*
