Email Lightbox as attachment
« on: July 24, 2008, 03:34:45 AM »
Hello!

Is there a mod like:
Email Lightbox as attachment

That would be especially cool with multilightboxes :)

Greets,
Freddy

Hi,

what is the reason about your question.

- You have a Download Button in the Lightbox page
- Before i send me a email with images, i download the images in 2 seconds over button.
- a lightbox with XX images, (e.g. 30images x 1,5 MB) = 45 MB => you like to send a email with 45MB  8O

Hi Kurt, I'd like to modify the question:
Isn't it possible to send the Filenames of the lightbox's content as an Email?
So users could order prints of all images they had collected in their lightbox - this could be a good alternative for a simple shopsystem.
Regards,
Reiner

I understand what you mean.
But this is feasible when this system is used for people in holiday. they might not have a mailprogram. Plus a maximum size of 30 MB per mail would be easy to check.

Or also interesting would be the possibility to send a user the link to a Script that is generating a ZIP file out of the fotos.. no matter if he is logged in or not.
So getting the images would be really easy.

best
