I am new to 4images.

Is it possible for users to create their own category? also can I turn off the lightbox feature???

Just remove the tag {lightbox_button} from your templates.

"Favorites"
"Album"

Adding images to "Lightbox" is synonymous with adding it to your Favorites folder :P
