Comment bug?
« on: December 07, 2005, 07:27:29 PM »
Just stumbled into a possible bug or maybe something is missing in my code. A user who has an account was posting a comment but didnt login so he would of been displayed as a guest. Problem is his name he used as 'user' was the same as his login so when he tried to post the message it did nothing. No post. And there was no error message. I understand its good to prevent people from posting comments using other peoples usernames but shouldnt there be a warning to the user?

Any way to create a popup window with an error message or warning?

Seems like you've changed something...there is a error message displayed when used member's name.
The first place I'd look would be language files.
Your first three "must do" before you ask a question:
Please do not PM me asking for help unless you've been specifically asked to do so. Such PMs will be deleted without answer. (forum rule #6)
