No images just error message when category is clicked on

4images 1.7.1

When I click on any of my gallery categories on my web page I get the following errors and no images whatsoever:
 In Internet Explorer:
 (none) 66.82.9.** /Gallery/categories.php?cat_id=131 web site name.com Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 9.0; Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Trident/5.0) 500
 In Opera:
 http://web site name.com/Gallery/ 66.82.9.** /Gallery/categories.php?cat_id=131 web site name.com Opera/9.80 (Windows NT 6.1; U; en) Presto/2.9.168 Version/11.50 500

 I restored a database from the other day and get same messages.
 Any idea what this means?

why do you not update your gallery..
