Me and my co-admin have both tried uploading images today.

All of the sudden the "add images" feature isn't working. After submitting the upload, it reloads with the red notification "Image *" that basically says I didn't choose an image to upload, when I most certainly did. It does the same thing with uploading from a URL, and it's not just the one file, I tried many.

I certainly haven't changed any of the script files since upgrading a long time ago (1.7.6).

Please help, I don't know where to begin with this!!

Installation, Update & Configuration / GIF thumbs with Image Magick?
« on: June 09, 2003, 04:57:46 PM »
Apparently Image Magick is making JPG thumbnails. Is there any way to make it make GIFs instead?
(I would use GD Bibliothek if it worked. lol)

Is it possible to create table relationships within the myPHPadmin database in order to get certain images to appear in 2+ categories?
I'm not comfortable enough to do database editing without proper instruction, so if anyone has ever done this or knows how, please help.

the one thing I don't understand is,
I upload images to /upload/ which is this path:
$data_src_path = "/path/to/images/folder";

but then how in the world does it know which category folder to put it in? i don't see how this works or how it is different from "check new images"

I recently reinstalled 4images but this problem has been there since the begining. and I use "check new images" - i'm not exactly sure how to use batch upload

HELLO??? someone out there - PLEASE HELP. I'm getting very sick of this problem.

8
I have the same problem. Please help?

I'm not confident enough to edit database tables! I too want the ability to easily make an image appear in two or more categories without forming table relationships which I really don't want to risk doing. :(

it works if i manually add them to the images (in Edit)

Discussion & Troubleshooting / FTP thumbnail problem

I have pre-existing thumbnails and over 1000 images...
these thumbnails are special (not just "auto" thumbs)

when I tried to just upload the thumbnails via FTP into the /data/thumbnails/ folders (finding the right category folder) it screwed up the corresponding JPG image in the /media/ folder.

also, the "find new images" feature apparently doesn't find thumbnails :(

help??

is there any way to make it so when you add a category, it goes to the top of the list and not the bottom? reordering one by one is tiring...  :(
