Hi all.

Is it possible to move whole categories in order to place them as a sub-category of another one?

An example:
There are 15 Main-Categories with pictures of parties.
To create some clearness I want to create a category named "parties" and move all categories mentioned above under the new category "parties".

any idea?

Hi all.

I want to simplify the image upload for users.

The existing process looks like this:

First I browse the harddisk for an image file:



Then I have to choose a file-name.

I removed the thumbnail fields, because I use auto-thumbnailing.

Then i click submit and after a successful upload the following screen comes up:

Now I got 2 requests:

At first, i don't want that "Image Name" is a mandatory field.
If the user decides to leave the "Image Name" field empty, the file name should be the Image name automatically.

Is this possible?


Second one: After successfully uploading an image, the image shouldn't be displayed. A short success message would be enough. The Image upload fields should be up again, so that the user can quickly upload another image.


Are there already mods doing that?
Is it much effort?

Help is appreciated.

alles klar. habs gefunden, danke.

hatte nach einem button oder einem häkchen gesucht.
ich musste aber in der dropdown liste dann einstellen, dass dieser user jetzt zu den aktiven gehört.

außerdem dachte ich, dass danach eine email versendet wird.
das funktioniert aber nicht.

der user bekommt nur direkt nach der registrierung eine mail, dass der administrator erst aktivieren muss und dass dann noch eine mail versendet wird. die angekündigte mail wird nicht versendet..

normal oder fehlkonfiguration?

vielleicht stell ich mich da ein bisschen doof, aber ich habe eine solche funktion nicht gefunden...

so weit so gut, da hab ich ja auch schon 2 kandidaten, aber wie aktiviere ich die jetzt??

ich habe Account Aktivierung durch den Admin eingestellt und finde gerade nicht, wie ich als Admin denn nun registrierte User aktiviere...

helft mir doch bitte kurz auf die Sprünge

Hallo allerseits.
Bin gerade dabei 4images etwas auszutesten und muss sagen:
sehr gut. schöne verwaltungs-möglichkeiten, nützliche plugins

nur ein punkt:
der bilder upload ist für meinen geschmack zu umständlich.
daher ein paar fragen:
- ist es möglich mehrere bilder gleichzeitig hochzuladen, ohne zugriff auf den server zu haben (gibt es dafür mods?)
- gibt es eine einstellung (oder ein mod), die es zulässt, den bildnamen frei zu lassen, so dass dann einfach der name der datei übernommen wird?
- nach einem erfolgreichen upload zeigt er mir immer das bild an. wie schaffe ich es, dass er lediglich eine kleine erfolgsmeldung gibt und ich gleich wieder das formular zum upload zeigt?


über antworten oder verweise auf andere threads wäre ich sehr dankbar!
