some news about it:
2 remarks about the requests :
i would like to send them only a newsletter if new picture are on the database (or if no new picture) all 3 months!
is there a working/existing MOD which allow to automatically send emails when there is new pictures on a site?
if not, the mod will not include this feature
* Script should be able to detect whether or not a sent newsletter to a person, bounces.
well, i think this is the way the script works... the script send an email and when it's OK, it shows "email sent" or when it's not OK, it shows an error.
now if you mean the newsletter script must be able to detect if someone did not receive the mail and the script will try to send it after, the answer is no.
if there is not already a MOD allowing that, the mod will not include this feature.
IMO, if you want to do some jobs, and you want to do them badly, the best way is to do all of them at the same time
in fact, I want initially to concentrate on a simple functional MOD (yes with the others features), and i have already started to work above, it is sufficiently complex for the moment.
I think that these 2 requests do not need this MOD to exist, because they can be used for entire script. thus when somebody will decide to write them ( perhaps me... who knows?
), sure it will work with this MOD.
i started working on this and the very first results really sounds interesting... for the moment i made
about 50% of the mod !
