Sorting Thumbnails Left to Right

How can I sort my categories from left to right then top to bottom, like the thumbnails?

Right now it sorts top to bottom then left to right.

In other words, this is how it sorts the categories now...

1 4 7
2 5 8
3 6 9

How can I change it to sort like this:

1 2 3
4 5 6
7 8 9
