backup problem

i can't backup my database files
when i try it shows:

Erro ao fazer cópia de segurança. Verifique as permissões (chmod 777).



i already chmod the admin folder to 777 but nothing...
any ideias?

now its even better...   i can't access the admin control panel...
and when i try to access it through ftp it says that i don't have permission...  

what should i do?

contact your host.

Ones I had simular problem, when for unknown reason some folders become unreacheble even through ftp.
