Urgent: (Version: 1.7.2) upgrade needed!

Hello there everybody,

I've installed the 4images gallery long time ago, it was working just fine, and I'm using the dark template, but few months ago, there have been 2 new versions and I missed to do the upgrade to my version can anyone please tell me how to do the upgrade (in a very basic for-dummy way!) I have a lot of subscribers in the gallery and neither me or they can add new pictures, nothing is working and the images have disappeared

Note: my gallery is (Version: 1.7.2)
