Removing [Control Panel]

Is there a way to remove the link "[Control Panel]" that you see when you login as a Admin below the imagefolio?

Also I have another question.

If your an admin your name is bold in the Active User List. Is there also a way to make certain people have a color? Like Artists get this certain color on the Active User List.
