Max. image size in KB dont work

helllo..

in admin panel i wrote Max. image size in KB 7000 kb .. but if i try to upload a bigger file then that.. nothing happpens... hes loading and loading..
it should appear and error message saying that the file is too big. or isnt it so??

and when i cancel and try to hit another button on the website. it freezes..    the strange thing is.. when i delete my cookies. i can access to the site again

Hi,

standard config from a server is 2 mb upload via php.
Ask your provider about more filesize.
