Reporting of webspace wrong!!

I have 500mb space server. i have uploaded 400mb worth of pics and my gallery works fine, i can view images and thhumbs

however my webspace is still reporting 500mb since the last 1 week! it hasnt changed at all since uploading the pics!

any reason why?

I dont think this is good place to look for an answer...
ask your host about it.

well nothing wrong with the host!! whenever i upload pics via ftp the space decreases! but when i add pics via the gallery the free space stays the same!! so theres problem with the script!

the script has nothing to do with anything!
all it do is copying files from temp folder into media folder.
