Folder Admin Hack or Mod

I am looking for a mod that would allow me to create an admin for a specific folder.  They should be able to edit the photos in a folder and create new subfolders within that folder.  They would not be able to delete the main folder that they are the administrating.
Has anybody done this?

no, there is nothing simular out there. (yet?)
but simular feature was requested several times, so it might be added in next version (?).
