4images should work in Safe Mode, but you can't use all functions, for example thumbnail creation and image resizing.

Yes, do this the same way like in the older version. See thumbnail_bit.html, there is a little comment in it how to do this.

And the Upload Part doesnt work with Safe Mode  :twisted:
