<URGENT> No images being displayed... Please help
« on: May 27, 2009, 02:57:20 PM »
Hey. I started using 4images yesterday and after uploading & installing 4images as stated in the readme, I've been facing a huge problem. None of the images are getting displayed. By images, I mean the header logo, the footer image, the download, user online/offine, postcard, upload, profile, rss, etc. images.

So I opened the readme again and checked if I had the permissions in place. Interestingly, everything is just as the documentation states it should be. Yet, I de-assigned and reassigned the permission thinking it would work. But, it doesn't.

Here's the url - <SNIP>

Please help me sort out the problem asap! Please. Thanks

Also, how do I sort/rearrange the pics I have uploaded?

Hey. I checked again. All logos and website images are present in the templates/default/images, templates/default_960px/images and templates/default_full/images folders.

Welcome to 4images forum.

Getting 403 error (permission denied) Please check docs/installation.txt for more info about file permissions.

I did that. Everything's in place

Hey. Its working now. I CHMOD'd everything in the templates folder to 777 and its working now ! I hope keeping 777 as the permission for every single file in the templates folder and its subfolders is safe, or is it?
