Finding categories - How can I add images which are already there?

I have just taken over as admin for a site which has moved servers. We did a new install.

I see the media folder which has sub folders of images in. But can't see them on the site

When we installed 4images, there were no photos - I created a category called "test" and there were 30 photos waiting to be approved

How can I find the categories of the other "hidden" photos?

Hi,

you can find fotos only, it the images also in the db listing.
DB backup=> data from old server to new server
