Mass Add Images - Upload a whole directory!

Is it possible to mass add images?  I don't want any descriptions, I just want to be able to add thousands of images.

i think this would be the easiest way.

i also need help with this and i have searched to no avail

i would like registered users to be able to upload as many pictures as they want at once without having to do them one by one or without sending them to me to upload via ftp
