how to simplify the detail.php?

I don't want the comment section or picture's info showed up in the details.php, so besides editing home.html, what else do I have to modify in details.php or something else? Can anybody help me?

you have to edit your details.html file which can be found in /templates/default/

here you can delete comment section or whatever you don't want to appear.
