I installed 4images 1.7 with english language pack.
I did all the necessary installation process from install.txt.
My host has the latest PHP installed.
The phpinfo page show that GD library is enabled 2.0 everything else is enabled.

Now here is the problem:
When I upload an image (jpg) it doesn`t create the thumbnail , i tried autothumbnailer but I get the following error

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: imagecreatefromjpeg() in /web/kaepa/www/gallery/includes/image_utils.php on line 71

"

Now where is the problem , i already set the conversion tool to GD library , but i still have the same problem with the same error!!!
