there is sound and image when I looked it.

you know what....this is  a problem i'm experiencing as well.

I have no problem with my computer...but when 90% of my users have trouble...what could be the problem...do you really think it's the users computer or is the avi.html template wrong?

any ideas?

no, there is nothing to do with template, because it just tells browser => OS what it needs to print on the display the page.
In avi.html case - media player plugin.
if there is some conflict in registers on your system, then windows just could be confused.
also, the format of video files could be damaged or another thing could be, that video file compressed with unknown for windows format (like DiVX).

just got another thing to think of: how about some antivirus or privacy control program?
I'm using Norton Internet Security with medium security level, that stops popups, ActiveX control, Java Applets. On some sites it even doesnt let browser show sertain pictures. So, there are many things could cause this, especialy if windows get lots of new programs installations.
