Hi I´m running a w2000 with apache 1.3*
Installed 4images 1.7 and i love it  :)  but I´m having trubble with netpbm (V10.6 for win) cant get thumbs  :cry:

path is a qustion ? How should i type it, I have tried most everything
my path 2 4images is = c:\www\apache\4images
my netpbm is = c:\www\apache\netpbm
and nada happens....
I have autothumb on and when i press autothumbmailer nothing happens ?  Anyone ????

I belive it's deppence how u installed it.
but, sometimes u'll need include .exe file at the end of the path...(i.e. c:\www\apache\netpbm\netpbm.exe)
I've never tryed NetPBM, but I have tryed ImageMagick, and it worked this way.

Hi Vano !

Well..still trying  :? not much luck thow...
Tryed 2 use the same exe-file in netpbm that 4images call for "pnmscale" but nope nada.. tryed 2 use Magick with the same result..nada. Is there someting i need 2 do in php.ini ? or in apache ini ?

I´m clueless now ? But I dont want 2 give up just yet......

Well...it helped a bit  :D now when i press autothumb i get a new menu instead of just blank page thats nice  :D

but when i press create tumbs a get a "Error creating thumbnail!"
but its one the way  :)

The search is on... if you have any more good idées please let me now  :wink:

I am having the same issue with netpbm

I know my path is correct, as when I change it, I get a NetPbm path incorrect or not installed error.

I get as far as selecting the image to the thumbnailed, and get the error:

Create thumbnail for: orange flower (orange_flower.jpg) ....  
   Error creating thumbnail!


I cannot use Image:Magick as my host will not install it.

Help would be much appreciated, as so far 4images seems to be the best tool on the market!

I get that error creating tn as well. Annoying!

I'm using Image Magick - path is correct etc. - but still this error. I've been reading these posts for hours and no one knows why this is???

HELP??!!!???
