GD Library
« on: January 14, 2012, 05:19:38 AM »
I searched high and low, but I can't find the location to check if GD is enabled. The host tells me that their version of PHP (5.2.16) supports GD. What code am I looking for and where is it located? I searched the forum but can't find the answer.

Thanks for your help!

Cheers

HJ

Danke Andi,

There were only a few pictures loaded and a few of our forum members signed up ... soooo I took the radical route: deleted the install, deleted the db and reinstalled from scratch. Double and triple checked and set all the directories and files that are listed in the installation instructions.
BUT the automatic resizing still doesn't work. Using the Auto-Image-Resizer in ACP supposedly resizes the image - at least it goes through the motions - but what shows up is still the original size.

Clarification: The Auto-Image-Resizer and the Auto-Thumbnailer in ACP work - I missed the reload image step

Where do I look next? I'm apparently missing something elemental and as a Pre-Newbie (is that the same as a preemie baby?  :D :D) I have no idea where to look next. :( :(

Any help is greatly appreciated (before I lose the rest of my hair  8O  )

Thanks

HJ

Servus Andi,

By default 4images doesn't have automatic image resize on upload. There is a mod for that though. However if you activate auto thumbnails in the settings then it should automatically create thumbnails.
Your first three "must do" before you ask a question:
