site abuse?? crashed servers, lots of php scripts and RAM consumed!

I suspect that i have someone scraping my site. had a huge explosion of php scripts  that ate up tons of ram and ate up all the cpu
 which is 16 virtual cores and 12gb ram. crashed my site several times already. traffic is not that high.

see tons of this:
GET /templates/dp_blue01t4/images/c1499.jpg HTTP/1.0

*GET /templates/dp_blue01t4/images/c1518.jpg HTTP/1.0
*GET /templates/dp_blue01t4/images/c757.jpg HTTP/1.0


anyone has any solution?? pls help. tks.

any other software installed besides 4images?
4images version?
all bug fixes installed?
did you delete all these php files?
