4images uses BCC fields only when admin sends out emails from ACP (Admin Control Panel), otherwise it uses "TO" field. e-cards also uses "TO" field.
Reading your conversation, I get quiet annoyed by how easy they point fingers on others and shield themselves from any responsibilities: (my comments in

specific enabled/disabled, please let us know, but you will need to
speak with the authors of 4images for further assistance. so, if mail feature not properly setup on the server it's still script's problem?

That's a standard EHLO SMTP banner, there's nothing invalid about it.
How exactly that answers/solves the problem?
So, what can you do at this point? - get as much information about requirements on the server for a PHP script be able send out emails.
It's clearly the server has many filters preventing abusing it with sending out spam that is blocking legit script from using the service.
