Installation issue

Hi, I am new here. This is my fist post. I am going thru the installation if 4images on my server I am doing version 1.7.3. I have done the following with the help of this forum and the installation file.
I am using IIS6
Installed PHP and configured the php.ini
install Mysql
create a blank database
placed the image gallery files on the website I am working on.
Ran the install.php
downloaded the config.php file and placed it on the location where the gallery files are.
Checked the database and saw that it created the tables
deleted the install.php file
deleted the updates files

This is all I have done so far. Now, if I try to load like the login.php or the index.php it defaults to the install.php but of couse it fails because I deleted that file already. Do you guys have any idea whay keep trying to load the install.php file?

i think something is wrong with your config.php.
look into..

Yes, I checked it again just to be sure and it is. I did the install 3 times and the same thing happens. Is very starnge.

I think I got this resolved, well I had to do a work around. I did the install on a temp server and the install worked. So i copied the gallery directory and the mysql data files to the new server and now I am able to access the gallery, add users and do configurations. A user can upload pics but me as admin can't validate. I get Error adding image: 111 (DSC00078.JPG).
One thing I have not done is what "CHMOD" I looked and this and it is used on unix systems. I am using MS IIS 6. I have played with permissions on the folders but no luck.
