Mods & Plugins (Requests & Discussions) / Moderator For Image Uploads
« on: February 02, 2010, 08:14:02 PM »
Hi All,

Does anyone know a mod that will allow us to give a few users "Some Admin Rights".  Meaning I only want a few moderators that will be able to approve new uploaded images, edit the titles, and that is it.  No other admin functions would be available to that user.

I know we can add administrators, but I do not want to give full admin rights, only right for that user to check for newly uploaded images, and be able to edit them, and approve them.  Thanks

AWESOME!  Thanks for the help.

BTW would you like to visit our page, between the mod's here and a programmer doing a few other mod's, the site has turned into quite a nice looking site.  We will be marketing this from our main site that gathers over 2 million hits per month.  I am quite sure this site will be a huge hit.  I tried to add to your "folsk using the program list" but you declined me?  not sure why but in any event we paid full registration and have made the site look nice.  Thanks

Discussion & Troubleshooting / My Lightbox Clicking and page reloading
« on: January 16, 2010, 03:09:39 AM »
Hi All,

Not sure if I will even explain this correctly, but I will do my best.

I read somewhere on this forum where if you click the Add To Lightbox button under each image, the page will reload, which sometimes makes the user have to rescroll to find where he was.  Someone here (awhile back ago I think) posted a mod that would allow a user to click the Addto Lightbox button, and the page updated without losing where it was.

I sure hope I made sense.  :-)

Hi veno,

Actually I see it only did that when you gave the image a path, instead of actually upload image.  So quick fix I just removed the option to have image directed to a path other than uploaded.  :-)

Thanks for all your help, give the site a peek over when you get a change, I had a programmer do a cool mod on the site.

Hi Again,

Sorry for the many questions.  I just took out the option for users to upload thumbnails, but now the system will not let me auto-create a thumbnail?  just says the image has no thumbnail.  I do have setttings to auto thumbnail in the admin area.

Thanks for the help Veno, I now understand the taking out the area for users to not see uploading thumbnail.  But I still would like to know how I can change the existing images currently on the site to a smaller thumbnail size?  I do not want to redo all these photos as I have close to 1,000 images now, all with 200 pixels width.  I want to change this to 150 or even 120 so i can have more thumbnails per page and still look great.  Thanks

Sorry for my dumb question, but I am not sure which languagethis is.  :-(

Hi Again,

Not too worried about the full image, only wanting the thumbnails to be a certain width.  As well I want the images we currently have in the system to be at a certain width, so would need those changed as well.

Also do you know of a way to totally remove the option where user can upload a thumbnail, as that gets produced auto in the admin feature.  Thanks

Do you have a english version for this script?  I am not understanding how to install.  Thanks

This is a good one, I would as well lvoe to have this option.  Is this possible?

Hi Everyone,

I would liek to know if there is a way to make the thumbnails auto size when users upload images?  As well can we take out the thumbnail image in the user upload and have the system auto size and make the thumbnail?

Done Deal!  :)   I just did the bundle purchase.  Thank you for the fast replies on my questions.   One quick "simple" question.  Do I just remove the copyright notice thing?  I do not see any mention of 4images on the footer.html page?  here is all I see....

Yes I understand where to order, but my question is I do not want to mess up any of the mods that I have done on the program.  So really just registering the program just to remove the bottom link?  Can i just register and then remove link manually? I just want to be fair with the makers and give them thier due $$$ for making such a awesome program.
