Hi All

I have racked my brains on this and spent a lot of time talking to my host he's reinstalled my ImageMagick 3 times. I have managed to get it sometimes to create thumbnails ( 1 in 100 ). Has anyone got any clue why this may be happening.

My host has assured me that all paths and installation is correct.

A user has uploaded a image and when i try to validate i get:

DB Error: Bad SQL Query: INSERT INTO 4images_images (cat_id, user_id, image_name, image_description, image_keywords, image_date, image_media_file, image_thumb_file, image_download_url) VALUES (78, 10, 'Graffiti on JSRF', 'I used Jet Set Radio Future's create a tag to make my name. Incase you are wondering, that says "ANTHONY."', 'jet set radio future jsrf anthony', 1021201182, 'anthony_tag_fixed.jpg', '', '')
You have an error in your SQL syntax near 's create a tag to make my name. Incase you are wondering, that says "ANTHON' at line 4
Error adding image: Graffiti on JSRF (anthony_tag_fixed.jpg)

Ive had a long chat with my host and they say its looks like a permissions problem.

What folder does it try to write the images to ( default )

Hi my host has diabled safe mode but now when i try to create thumbnails i get:

Create thumbnail for: a10-in-tunnel-bingomid (a10-in-tunnel-bingomid.jpg) ....  
   Error creating thumbnail!


Create thumbnail for: Blade (blademasters01.jpg) ....  
   Error creating thumbnail!


Create thumbnail for: Bruteforce (bruteforce02.jpg) ....  
   Error creating thumbnail!


Create thumbnail for: X-isle3 (x-isle04.jpg) ....  
   Error creating thumbnail!


Create thumbnail for: Dark3 (darksummit03.jpg) ....  
   Error creating thumbnail!


Create thumbnail for: Dommy (dom2.jpg) ....  
   Error creating thumbnail!


Create thumbnail for: Cello (celdamage04.jpg) ....  
   Error creating thumbnail!

Any ideas ?

Id did that and got into the section but got:

Hi Guys

I managed to fully install 4images on our new server and for my luck ImageMagick was pre-installed. But when i type in the path and I try to go into the autothumbnailer section i get:

ImageMagick error. Wrong path or ImageMagick not installed.
Check module settings.

I checked through these boards I saw a few comments about permissions of the ImageMagick files what do they have to be set @ ?

Also my files are stored @ usr/local/bin/

With all files in that folder do i enter "usr/local/bin/convert" into the ImageMagick field in 4images?

Ive created the catergories in the control panel ( about 200 ) but when i go into into the media directory i just get lots of directories named as numbers how do i know which directory is which ?
