Something to show a top 10 of people who have uploaded the most images. Any ideas of how to do this?

i.e. 1.Dave: 10 images uploaded
     2. Steve: 7 images uploaded
     3. Paul: 3 images uploaded
etc....

O.K. I know how to delete the thumbnails, that's no problem, but does anyone have a script that will list all the photos in that particular category?

say for instance, in category 'cats' - it will list -


Diego's Cat - uploaded by diego
Fred's cat - uploaded by fred

etc, etc....

i.e. as a text list...

O.K. Thanks guys, but what I'm looking for is something really simple -

Just that I can put on my homepage (not the 4images homepage) that's a counter for the total figure of newly uploaded images.

If you look at this page - http://pool.dylantree.com - they're running such a counter on their front page. They're not running 4images, but the principle must be the same, I guess...

Is there a simple way of doing this?

I just want some way of counting the total  new images & can be put on my home page to say -


  ' 5 new images in gallery ' (or whatever number)


just for the NEW images, not the total number of images on my site.
