Installation, Update & Configuration / Language Pack Problem

Hello

I'm trying to install 4Images on my server, and I'm getting errors whenever I switch over to the english install page.  I received the following:

Warning: Unable to access ./lang/language-pack_english/install.php in /home/sites/littrells.org/4images/install.php on line 84

Warning: Failed opening './lang/language-pack_english/install.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear') in /home/sites/littrells.org/4images/install.php on line 84

Does anyone know how I can fix this?  Because it will not show the headers, text, etc. beside the fields.

Unfortunately no..so I deleted the script from my server.  However, my server recently upgraded versions of Apache and such, so I might try again soon.

Just wondering if anyone was able to make any sense of this problem yet.  I know a lot of people have had it in the past and there hasn't been a fix...so, I'm just trying to see if a fix can be found.

Okay, tried deleting the entire admin folder like you said, then uploaded it again, still getting the same thing.  I created the PHPInfo file like you suggested.  I'm not a whiz on what it all says, so here's the link for it:

I tried installing the patch...still doesn't work.  Anyone else have any ideas..?? Any at all?

I'm not sure what you mean...I know my host supports php and mysql, because I have to activate it through my account if I want it.

If I'm not misstaken, Jan mentioned few times, that this could be because PHP doesnt support sessions, or something like that?

So...should I try emptying my cache and cookie files and such, is that what you mean?

I have just installed 4images and the install went smoothly, and I was presented with this message:

Install success!

The basic installation is now complete and your admin account has been created. You should now log in to your 4images Control Panel and check the general configuration for any required changes.

So, when I click on the Control Panel link, all I get is a blank page, with a blue scroll bar showing.

I have looked in the FAQ, I have checked my config.php files.  I have both a config.new.php and a config.php, both with the correct information filled in (I did this manually for both) hoping that one of these would work.  I've tried keeping one or the other, and I still get the blank page.  All my files are chmod correctly, and everything is fine as far as I can tell.  I can view my main gallery page fine.  This is the only aspect not working.

Please help!
