Tested it too (with 1.5 Final and Safe mode Off).
Tried it with the full name to the image file, but still no luck.

Jan,

I can't leave it blank, I want to use it to let users download a high quatlity image, not just the compressed (low quality) picture. I believe the Download URL was intended and needed for that use?

Hi,

Since my update from 1.5 beta to 1.5 final the image download button isn't working anymore. When pressing, a new windows is opened (with URL ...\download.php imageid), one second nothing and then just the home page.

I have read many threads in this forum, but I couldn't detect a solution.
(I have downloaded the latest Final version and updated the download.php)

Any advise?

Registered users can view all albums (categories), and I don't want that. What I need is different albums for different groups of people.

Example:
- Group Family - family albums
- Group Friends - other albums

When just using registered users all (registered) user can view all albums.

What other function is there for User Groups the giving groups of users access to albums?

That's why I like to be notified to put the right people in the right group.

I hope you understand me?

Is is possible to be notified when a new user registers?

My Categories are Private, so a new users must be put in the proper Group to get access to the Category. When I get notified, I can do this. Otherwise people register and login to the site and still don't see a category.

Thanks Jan, leaving the name and password field blanc does the trick.

A quick other question. The Reset Stats function does not work. I get the following error:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected '>' in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\gallery\admin\stats.php on line 49

Any ideas?

Hi,

I am using 4Images 1.5Beta on a Windows 2000 Server. I can't get the email function working. As I don't have SendMail (it's a Win2000 server) I think I have to use SMTP. Filling out the proper fields in the Admin module won't do the trick. When registring as a user I get various smtp error, most of the time the 250-TURN message.

Can you help me setting up this thing?
