I'm making a gallery where everything will be listed in alphabetical order.

So I make a main category called "A". And then I create subcategories under A.

To make it look like this on the home page:

A
Subcat 1
Subcat 2
Subcat 3

Would it be possible to remove the link from the "A" so that it only functions as a topic for the subcategories? Because all subcategories will be listed on the main page so I don't need people to click the A link, plus it will look better that way. If this is possible, please let me know how.

Hello,

I have a little question about how to change the way subcategories are listed on the home page.

As it's now, it looks like this:

Main Category
Sub cat 1, Sub cat 2, Sub cat 3

But I would want it to look like this instead:

Main Category
Sub cat 1
Sub cat 2
Sub cat 3

I want each subcategory to be listed on its own line.

How could I change this? Thank you!

Hey!

I've seen this on other sites and was wondering how I can do it..

Basically I want to be able to show the newest X pictures on a non-gallery page.. for example, on the main website..

How can I do this?

When i try to install the gallery on my server i get this message:

Install success!

The install script is unable to write the config file "config.php" to the server. Click the button below to download a copy of the configuration file and upload this file via FTP to the 4images directory. Once this is done you should log in using the admin username and password and visit the Control Panel to check the general configuration for any required changes." />

And i have clicked on the link that says "Download Configuration File", and i have uploaded it to the server. But it still doesnt work (i get the same error message). Does anyone know what's wrong? Thank you very much to whoever that can help me in one way or another. Thanks

Emil,

first please use a more descriptive headline for your request, so that others know whether they can help or not before they click on it.

Do a search in this forum for "netpbm". You will find there a detailed description how to use either "GD" or "Netpbm", depending on the installation on your server.
