I use an iKonboard on my sites, and am going to use 4images for an image gallery. iKon is a perl board, but it still uses MySQL.
I do not need full integration (ie log in at one, and you are logged in at the other), but I do want 4images to read the iKonboard member database. Basicaly I would disable registration for 4images, so I would need it to "talk" with the ikonboard member table, possibly be able to update user data, but not create new accounts, or remove them.
How would I go about changing the table that 4images looks in for the member data, assuming both 4images and ikonboard are installed on the same database?
