I can add up to 24 pictures at one time but if on the check new images page, I try to add 25 or more, the screen just says 'no new images added'. So my gallery can't add more that 24 images at one time which is frustrating if I have a lot of pictures to add in one batch

Can anyone please help me with this? I want to keep all my categories in order of image name, but want the search results page for new images to show the files by date added in descending order (so that the newest images will be at the top of the page)

yes it allows me to add 20, but if I try to add more than 20 it just comes up saying "no new images added"

When I go to the check new images page in my control panel, the default amount is set to 30. But if it brings up 30 new images and I click the button to add them, the page then says 'no new images added'. The gallery will only insert 20 images at a time and no more. What could be the problem? It used to work and I could check as many pictures as I want at one time. But now it will not do more than 20, and its suddenly started doing that. I'm not sure where the problem could be in the coding

I hadn't logged onto this forum for a while, but when I logged in today I had a message from manurom offering to help me with a problem I had posted about a few months back. I was just about to reply to his pm when for some reason I decided to look at the forums first, and I got a shock when I saw this thread.
I did not know him well but from what I do know he seemed very friendly and helpful. My condolences to his family

Yes the site is working again now. If you look into any categories, you can see that the font of them looks different to the gallery index page. Could whatever is causing the two to be different be the reason why I'm having this problem? I can provide any of the coding from the pages if anyone could let me know what it is you need to look at?

I'm not usually able to help around here because of my limited knowledge, but I hope I can help here

If you have the amended picture on your computer ready to upload, then make sure it has the same filename as the existing photo. Then all I usually do is go into the ftp and into the appropriate folder, and put the new picture into the folder. It will ask if you want to overwrite the existing picture so click yes, and it will overwrite the picture but should keep all the comments and the same 'date added' as the original picture.

Alternatively, in your control panel, go to edit images and find the picture you want to edit. Replace it with your new picture but don't alter the date on the edit page. It should keep the same comments and hits as before.

Two other people have tested this problem for me on my gallery and they both have the same problem, so it isn't my personal computer settings.

I'm desperate to get this problem sorted.
In the control panel - I go to 'edit categories', and I click the plus sign on a category to open it and see the subcategories. If I then click the plus sign on a subcategory, instead of it opening further, it just closes the original category. So I can't get into my sub-subcategories to edit them and I just don't know what to do to fix the problem
Please please could someone help me because I need to be able to edit and delete some categories in my gallery

I have a lot of members in the gallery, so when I try to edit details on the edit image page, the user list takes a long time to load and is causing me problems. Because I don't need to edit users I was wanting to remove that line on the page. What code do I have to remove to do this? I didn't want to guess incase I messed anything up. This is the line I mean:
