I read the whole thread. Is there any example in the web to see this mod in action?

Can I do this with the mod?
- upload a high-res picture
- automatic resized in 4 sizes, which are automatic saved in different folders
- can put each in the lightbox
- download the lightbox (cart)

I have same question. Is this possible?

I am surprised, that this feature is not in the CORE  :( Every Photographer which will offer Images over the web needs this function. Preview images, and download the full Print version and Full Size of an Image. So I hope this feature is in Core as Donwload Option in the Future, also a simple Workflow to Upload ONE Image and generate all other Thumbs from this one. No Upload more Images....

Thanks Roland

He is got it wright. That how the progam should work.
Have anybody find the answer to Roland's question?

hi,

use in admin control panel > Auto-Thumbnailer
and generate thumbnails
that will show pics instead of "eyes".

if some errors occurs, post them here.

Here is the picture form the admin control panel / Auto Thumbnailer
It says "No entries found" after cliking on the Check Thumbnails button. The data base seems to have the thumbnail pictures (named same as the originals). I have got rid of the "eyes" picture by changing the permissions to the data and template folders. Now I have black pictures as thumbnails.  See the URL: http://s168048980.onlinehome.us/viewer

What did you mean by wrong CHMOD settings for data folder? Should not be set to chmod 777? When I meant "specs" I was referring to the previous tread which has the instruction for installation and the specification for permission settings. It has stated chmod 777 for all of the data folder and its subfolders. Should the thumbnail show or would it only show if I install the three refernce code you have sent me.
Thank you for your help!
Peter

Hi,
I have had the same problem. Set CHMOD to specs and now I get a blank black thumbnail instead of the image. Do I understand this correctly?
Uploading an image (larger size) will create a specified smaller size image to view and a specified thumbnail to show automatically. The "original" image would be available for downloading. Thus you only need to upload one image. Php and GD (in my scenario) will take care of the rest.
Could you please let me know?
