Many thanks for this Nicky.

Your help is very much appreciated....However I now cannot access the pictures page of my website at all?.......unless I go in through the "cache" option in Google...

The error code for www.fairlineholidayclub.co.uk/pics is as follows; 

Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'admin_global.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php') in /homepages/42/d69561123/htdocs/fairlineholidayboatownersclub/pics/index.php on line 27

Sorry to be a pain but have you any ideas on how I can correct this?  if there is anyone who can help then I am of course prepared to cover any costs.

I feel have read every relevant post before finally making this request. I would (naturally) like to run the latest version of 4 images. however I really do need advice in SIMPLE terms if at all possible, is there a step by step guide I can follow in order for me to do this. With all due respect a list of all the code changes etc means nothing to me as I would not know how to use these.  I do manage to upload the phbb forum on my website (www.fairlineholidayclub.co.uk) without issues on a regular basis as there are step by step instructions that allows my very basic knowledge to follow.  I appreciate you guys know this software inside out but if you could please give me an "idiots guide to upgrading" I would be extreemly grateful. I am currently running version 1.7.3 and I have downloaded version 1.7.6 and saved it on my desktop. I can back up all the files ok if this helps. If there is a post that covers this then please accept my appologies, as I say I have called myself to have looked before posting.

Discussion & Troubleshooting / Unable to upload my latest Backup sql file

Hi Guys,

I have recently uploaded 4 images version 1.73 from 1.71.  My problem is that I want to upload my latest backup (Aug 06). When I go in to control panel/backup database/upload..I get an error message saying "Internal server problem please try later"

I have tried over 2 weeks now with no luck. I can however upload an earlier backup (March 06) no problem. However there are so many catagories and images not shown it will be very difficult to replace them all as members upload thier own pictures on to our site.  (www.fairlineholidayclub.co.uk)

I can download all backups including the latest version but I'm not sure if this will help me in any way?.
