any fixes for 1.7.2 or 1.7.3?? as the download.php file in these versions are missing a few lines of code which was in 1.7.1 and were replaced by your patch.

I have but as in the post above...there are three or more lines of code missing in ver 1.7.3 which were to be replaced by v@no's code, that he wrote for some earlier version. ive posted the missing code as well.
so what needed is a 1.7.3 update of that code or some other solution to the problem...but as it seems that code solved the problem without anything to do with the server settings, i would very much appriciate it. so please can v@no or anyone else for that matter help me out?

~46kb/s and stopped at about 3,5mb from 7mb file.
remember. MP3 are illegal.. i changed you url.

lol...i dont mind the link removal...but what exactly is the problem and what solution can I propose to my host that can fix the problem?

No V@no, there are lines that does not exist in the downoad.php in 1.7.3 version. which are these

elseif (!$file['file_data'] = get_file_data($file['file_path'])) {

$file['file_size'] = strlen($file['file_data']);

if (!empty($file['file_data'])) {

the above lines i simply cant see in the download.php. what should i do now? its really killing me here..

Hi
I've uploaded v1.7.3 and am using it as a downloads section. put in different types of files like exe and zip and mp3. now the problem is whenever I or any user try to download a file let be of any extension, the download gets stuck. what is causing this? i am to launch my site soon and was counting on my downloads the most so please help.

by default there are three new files in one row are showed. but i want to show more new images by adding rows. in the settings of admin cp it only adds more cells in the same row. help :

I tried to search this forum but found no solution to this just v@no suggesting a guy to add bmp.htm file in the media directory copying jpg.html file, that I sorted out myself. It is now accepting the bmp to add it in the database, also shows picture when go to it but it does not generate thumbnails when try to autogenerate thumbnails. Simply says no thumbnails found for bmp files. how to fix this?
