In the gallery it is very important for me that one user can rate only one time for per image.
I tried to rate, it worked. Then I clear the cache of the browser and it allows me to rate again.
So now I wander is there any solution, that will restrict user to rate again and that restriction will be
based not on checking the cache, but checking it in the database whether the person already rate for particular image or not.

Thanks it works

In templates, comment back (remove <! -- and --- >) the line.

Only comments should be removed. Not working otherwise .

No images appear near the categories only folder thumbnails.
So I wonder what else I should do to get image thumbnails near the categories?

I have installed version 1.7.4 and after creating a few categories I uploaded there images.
Now I would like that near the names of the categories instead of thumbnails of folder I have thumbnails of images from respective categories.

After reading a lot all the forums I found the easiest way to do that by just uncommenting in category_bit.html file

After that the same folder thumbnail is there and no images.  Maybe it worked in old version of gallery? In version 1.7.4 it doesn’t work, at list for me.

Could anyone help?

I have only problem with Safari users. They say it doesn't play there.

When I installed localy(on desctop) the album it worked perfectly. But when I installed it on the server, after the uploading images this error comes: Error uploading image file.
Though it's possible to upload an image from url.

I cmoded all the files on the server to 777.
Safe mode is switched off.

What else can be the reason of the error?

You can try to apload to the server  www.parijata.net/photo/
I gave all the permissions for all

and this is an image from "phpinfo"

Thank you for a very nice album.

After using a bit I have a question answer to which I couldn’t find in the forum.
And to be honest I even don’t know where to post my question…

So the question is: when I choose that images will be resized by cd, then it would be better that on the upload page the upload of previews would be disabled. Otherwise people uploading there big images and it ruins everything.  Is there possibility to switch it off somewhere (the uploading of previews)  or where in the code can I do it?
