I am getting the following data base errors with my site which is integrated with vBulletin and is sharing the same data base.

Here is my site info:

I have successfully applied this mode:  "4images Gallery 1.7 + vB 3.0.x"
http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=66335&page=1&pp=15&highlight=4images

Versions I am using:

4images 1.7.1
vBulletin Version 3.0.7

As part of the integration with vBulletin my 4images data base has a prefix of "actors_" and is in the same data base as vBulletin which has no prefix. So, my 4images is using vBulletin's user table. Which results in my users registering and signing in once to use the forum and picture gallery.

My data base:

"actors_categories"        <---4images
"actors_comments"       <---4images
"actors_groupaccess"     <---4images
adminhelp                    <---vBulletin (no prefix)
user                            <---vBulletin (no prefix)
useractivation               <---vBulletin (no prefix)
etc..

I am wondering if this could be fixed easily or has the integration with vBulletin made this mod unsalable?

thanks - Jason

From the info Chris gave me above and one of V@no's mods I just installed earlier (which works great!), I thought of a possible mod that would maybe put these two mods together as one.

With Chris' info above, now we can view the Top Images by categories. However, added many categories, you need to add many links to those categories in the Top Images page. This could take up a lot of space and look cluttered.  How could this be improved?  This is were V@no's mod comes in. He made a mod that lets users sort images by, name, date, downloads, etc, using a drop down list. So how about making a drop down list that goes on the Top Images Page that let the users change the Top Images by categories!

Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Jason

Subject:Let visitors to chose how to sort images(date,name,..)

Chris, Thank You! The help on this Forum board is second to none!   :D

Yes.  Just use this link format
Code: [Select]
http://www.example.com/4images/top.php?cat_id=xxxwhere xxx is the category number in question

Why do this? To have two or more different Image Galleries with there own Top Images Page as well as there own Themes. Having one vBulletin Forum board linking different topics to the appropriate image gallery. As of now with only one 4imagesGallery running, all image show up on one "Top Images" page combining the categories. This mod would make it possible to have the option of having each category have it's own Top Images Page.

Example: http://www.mydomain.com/4imagesGallery1 would be images of Apples. http://www.mydomain.com/4imagesGallery2 would be images of Orange's. Right now with only one 4images Gallery, the Top Images page would include both apples and oranges sorting them by ratings,votes, hits and downloads. As apposed to 4imagesGallery1 (apples) and 4imagesGallery2 (oranges) having there own Top Images Page sorting them by rating,votes, hits and downloads.

Any way to do this?

Thank you,
Jason

Hi, as of now all image Categories show up in one "Top Images" page. Is it possible to have the option of having each Category have it's own Top Images Page?  Example: Lets say I have two Categories. Category one is apples and category two is orange's. Right now the Top Images page will include both apples and oranges sorted by rating,votes, hits and downloads.  As apposed to one page with the Top Apples and another page with the Top Oranges sorted by rating,votes, hits and downloads. Anyway, I think you get the idea. Any way to do this?

Thank you,
Jason

Hi, does anyone know how to do this? It seems like the standard rating should be "on a scale of 1 to 10" rather than "on a scale of 1 to 5". I was able to change the rating drop down choice to 1 to 10 in the “rate_form.html” template. But when selecting 6-10, it says "invalid rating". I am sure I have to change something in a php file, but I am new at this. Please help!  :roll:

Thank You,
Jason NY, NY USA

------------------------------------------------------------
The Original rate_form.html:

<form method="post" action="{self}">
  <table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="1">
    <tr>
      <td class="head1">
        <table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="3" class="row1">
          <tr>
            <td valign="bottom">
              <select name="rating" class="select">
                <option value="">--</option>
                <option value="5">5</option>
                <option value="4">4</option>
                <option value="3">3</option>
                <option value="2">2</option>
                <option value="1">1</option>
              </select>
            </td>
            <td>
              <input type="hidden" name="action" value="rateimage" />
              <input type="hidden" name="id" value="{image_id}" />
              <input type="submit" value="{rate}" class="button" name="submit" />
            </td>
          </tr>
        </table>
      </td>
    </tr>
  </table>
</form>

What I changed or added: I just added option values 6 though 10.

                <option value="">--</option>
                <option value="10">10</option>
                <option value="9">9</option>
                <option value="9">9</option>
                <option value="8">8</option>
                <option value="7">7</option>
                <option value="6">6</option>
                <option value="5">5</option>
                <option value="4">4</option>
                <option value="3">3</option>
                <option value="2">2</option>
                <option value="1">1</option>
