just throwing my support in for a joomla/4images bridge with shared login, etc.
would definitely pay for it or donate without hesitation!
I don't even know any decent joomla developers that could handle the job. I contacted one, but he never bothered to get back to me.

all of sudden i am getting this error
(using using MySQL 4.1.14 4images 1.7.2)

DB Error: Bad SQL Query: SELECT u.*, l.* FROM 4images_users u, 4images_lightboxes l WHERE u.user_id = AND l.user_id = u.user_id
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'AND l.user_id = u.user_id' at line 3

nothing has changed that Im aware of..so Im stumped and of course mysql challenged

I would pay anyone who would come up with the mambo/4images bridge (one login for both cms and 4images)
if you can do this and do it reasonably soon, make it functional, contact me! I need my 4images gallery and I really need to upgrade to a CMS asap.

im basically going to use 4images as a free postcard site, so I want to do this:
1) remove all buttons except postcard
2) change the size of the postcard button
3) remove all need for registration

where do i find the image links in details.php so I can remove them
where do I change the button size in the script
can i remove the no need for registration issue  by just giving permissions to 'all' postcard inthe control panel

wondering if i can remove registration totally, but still give access to downloading images?
thinking maybe if i set permissions to ALL for the categories, this may do it?
do i need to removed anything from my templates?

I think i read somewhere in here b4 the hack attack that it was possible to include info from the 4images DB in external pages.
example. my gallery and index page  are in a folder. I have a seperate index page(outside the folder) for the site as an intro.
can i include thumbnails, stats,etc on my 'intro' index page? or what if i want to move index.php from that folder to make it my sites index?
