Hi,

achso ich dachte du warst quasi dabei als der geschlossen wurde

Ja der MOD ist echt interessant, sowas als input box die dann zur
select wird und auto vervollständigt (db gegenchecken).

Ich muss aber leider sagen das ich nicht glaube das ich in der Lage wäre
diesen alleine zu überarbeiten außer ich lese vorher den php und sql o'reilly.

Ich hab mich generell mit sql immer sehr schwer getan, ich mags irgendwie nicht.

Hi,

wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe wurde release zu gemacht da dort
einfach zuviel unbestätigter Kram gepostet wurde ok.

Wie wäre es denn wenn es macht wie in Vano's Ajax Comments?
Die MOD Themen werden Bewertet fällt die Bewertung unter ein bestimmtes
Level fliegt der MOD aus release heraus z.B. in eine Gruppe unbestätigte
Modifikation (Funktion ungewiss).

Die Frage wäre ob das funktionieren kann oder dann User hergehen und MOD
Grundlos verschwinden lassen, vielleicht wäre das aber mal ein versuch
"Schlechte MODS" loszuwerden.

Um zu verhindern das bestimmte User Grundlos einstufen würde ich die Schwelle
zur versenkung sehr hoch setzen und das erstmal beobachten bevor tatsächlich
was passiert.

Was ähnliches könnte man ja mit MODs machen die leichte Fehler aufweisen,
es wird ein verantwortlicher MOD Ersteller angegeben, dieser hat dann wenn
die User Probleme mit dem MOD melden X Wochen Zeit den Code zu aktualisieren,
passiert das nicht wird der mod aus release automatisch verschoben in ein forum
names revision necessary o.ä.

Keine Ahnung ob sowas funktionieren kann!?

Toll wäre es auch eine Art Liste einzuführen in der die Modifikation mit einer
Beschreibung aufgelistet werden, ich finde hier im Forum immer wieder neue
MODs deren existenz mir nicht bekannt war.
(Ich war bislang nicht bereit das forum von Hand Seite für Seite durchzugehen)

Ich weiß das Andi und Mawenzi solche Listen pflegen aber eine allgemeingültige
wäre doch besser (ich rede nicht von euren meine 4i modifikationen seiten)
Sowas auf Wiki Basis vielleicht (aber integriert im Forum)?

Hi,

ich bin die Tage über folgendes Stück Software gestolpert:

Wichtig:

- setzt imagemagick vorraus.
- setzt system und exec (php) vorraus (bedeutet für euch safe_mode off)
(leider ist exec noch notwendig, das soll sich mit dem nächsten release ändern)

Ein wirklich gelungener Ajax Bild Editor der in nächster Zeit neu aufgelegt werden soll.
(Der Autor spricht hier von "Fall" also diesen Winter ob das wirklich noch passiert halte
ich für unwahrscheinlich wenn es nicht ein Weihnachtsgeschenk werden soll

Ich habe das ganze mal auf meinem Vserver installiert funktioniert inzwischen bestens.

Meine Intention war es mit einem MOD zu beginnen.

Klar war das ein Tippfehler (korrigiert) und natürlich ziehlte das nicht auf deine Person,
sondern auf den Thread und das Anliegen. Da steht ja auch ...wir das... und nicht ...wir dich...

Ich hatte das schon selbst gesehen und hätte das auch gern früher korrigiert aber ich hatte
das Thema ja geschlossen irgendwie blöd das ich das nicht wieder aufmachen kann.
(Wahrscheinlich hab ich den Button zum erneuten öffnen einfach nicht entdeckt.)

@Mawenzi und Andi

Ok euch stört es wenn es mehrere Threads gibt zum gleichen MOD Thema gibt, klar wozu auch.
Aber schließen oder ändern wollt ihr diese auch nicht.

Da ist doch schon der erste Haken das sich nichts tut.

Meine Idee war eine neue Kategorie im Forum zu gestalten in die ausschließlich MODs eingestellt
werden bei denen gesichert ist das sie mit 4I Version XY funktionieren, klare Anleitung ohne
Fragezeichen und klar ausformulierte Anweisungen.

Mir kann es ja dann egal sein das in den anderen Kategorien evtl. die angesprochenen 4 Threads
existieren, ich halte mich dann einfach an die "Saubermann" Kategorie und gut is.

In der besagten Kategorie "Saubermann" darf dann rumzensiert werden sofern es notwendig ist,
eben damit jedem klar ist hier drin wird aufgeräumt, dann kann auch keiner meckern...
und der Rest bleibt halt Vogelfrei.

Wer soll das machen?

Na die engagierten User ob das Benny, Lucifix oder die vielen anderen sind die mir gerade nicht
einfallen... Ich selbst würde mich auch beteiligen.

Und auf das Thema mit dem gesuchten Programmierer zwecks Änderungen habe ich mich sehr
wohl gemeldet, habe aber den Kontakt abgebrochen da mir was ganz und garnicht geschmeckt hat.
(Dazu äußer ich mich aber nicht näher).

Nochwas:

wenn ich hier ein "MOD" einstelle kann dieses ja nicht direkt in release posten sondern nur in
discussion, von dort werden diese dann manchmal verschoben oder eben nicht.

Wie entscheidet ihr das?
Probiert ihr die Sachen aus und empfindet diese dann für gut oder schlecht.
Oder ist das Zufall weil der Thread evtl. nicht gleich auffällt?

Hi,

is it possible to extend this for a username length check?
If the user enter the username field he cannot leave until a given
length of username is entered?

Also i only knew of domains that have at least 2 signs (example. db.de)
the script say valid also for an adress like a@b.de



I think this script is hole less if it accept the email adress if it looks
at least like: a@bc.de

- check the valid of the email-adress
   - if invalid email-adress, then show a text next the first email field

Have you changed this due to code changes?
When i test this on your page there is no extra text that says email invalid,
there is just the no.png right beneath the second email field.

Excellent mod. One thing though. If you click away from the username box, but leave it blank, it will say that the username is available. Any way to get it to instead say "Please enter a username"?

Hi,

das schlimme sind nicht unbeding 4 Threads zum gleichen Thema, sondern oftmals das ganze
gebrabbel da drin, es ist schrecklich aus einem Patchwork die wichtigen Teile zu extrahieren.

Unterm Strich halte ich fest es ist keine Änderung erwünscht, sonst wäre wohl mein und Bennys
betteln besser angekommen, ich möchte jetzt nicht zickig erscheinen aber Haken wir das hier
doch einfach ab. gähhnn!

what do you mean the comment related files? And all comment related function?
Yes it worked well then i tried to implement your ajax rating and have that
failure after doing it, im sure its something related to my template files but i cannot
understand what part of code is placing all the rate forms on top?

if i place for testing purposes some text in front of the table:

All vote forms are gone (sure) also that on top, so i think i have to check the comment_bit.html?!


EDIT2:

Strange, if i disable comment rating in ajaxcomments.php all the comment will be shown in the +
spoiler nevermind what rating they have if i change the pages of comments.

The first view is ok but after changing to another comments page (if paging) only spoilers are shown.

Then i tried to switch paging off but no reaction the paging is allready there
(i have installed paging for comments and universal paging class)
And yes it worked fine before i started with ajaxcomments... hmm im sure i made a mistake but
i cannot find a something missing or wrong related to your installation instructions.

Can you maybe look into my attached files on first post?

EDIT3:

Ok you can stop here, i tried your default template files and there its working fine,
must be some mistaken by me in one of my template files...

...i try to find out my damn bug.

Hi,

if have installed this mod but have still a problem and i cannot find the solution.
If i enter the details page the comments look like:



the comment vote forms are shown on top and not near the comment it belongs to, but if use the paging and
switch to other comments it looks like:



the comment vote are now shown on top and also to every comment. Now i tried to vote for a comment from
another user this is what happens:



I voted for the bottom comment, then the vote form on top changed and is disabled, and the vote form near
the comment i have voted for is allready available but not clickable ones.

Also the vote counter is not changing at the vote form near the comment only the one on the top.

The Problem must be over the comments table:




Where is the mistake?

I have attached my details.php details.html, comment_form.html, comment_bit.html, comment_popup_form.html & ajaxcomments.php
(I will delete these attachments if i could solve my problem)

frage, wie oft hast du jquery schon in deiner webseite eingebunden?

du meinst jquery ansich und keinen code der auf jquery basiert?
Kann ich dir ganz genau sagen 1x unzwar in der header.html und
jquery liegt auch lokal (kein hotlink).

Kannst dir ja mal die slide.js ansehen das sind 3 mini functions um
das panel zu sliden, nehme ich das script aus dem header funktionieren
auch so sachen wie der imagezoomer oder andere nette spielereien.

Oder einfach hier der Code aus der slide.js, ich habs auch im MOD
Thread versucht aber ich glaube der Autor ist nur noch ganz selten da
oder garnicht!

im sure some of you are still using jquery hotlinked against static.jquery.com or dev.jquery.com! Yes?
Ok then you may want to know this:

Please do not link to versions of jQuery on static.jquery.com or dev.jquery.com;
hotlinking to these subdomains will be disabled in Q3 of 2010 and your sites will break!
I know the Q3 is over and we are in Q4 but im sure they still will disable hotlinking in future due
to much cross traffic.

Guys if you have the jquery library hotlinked, download the latest version and change your src.

von jquery gibt es ja bekanntlich 2 Versionen, die standard und die minimal version.
Gibts es eine sichere Methode festzustellen ob mir die minimal Version reicht?

Aktuell lade ich in der header das standard jquery und da die min version um einiges
kleiner ist würde ich das gerne tauschen allerdings erst wenn ich über die
Unterschiede bescheid weiß.

EDIT:

Ich habe das hier gefunden:

uncompress (unpack) the code whereas the minified versions do not. The packed versions of jQuery will take less time to download than

uncompressed which will cause a non-trivial delay in the execution of any jQuery code each time it is loaded.
Wenn ich das richtig verstehe gibt es garkeinen Inhaltlichen Unterschied sondern lediglich die kompression,
allerdings verstehe ich den text oben so das bei benutzung der minified version bei jedem Aufruf der
Seite der jquery code extrahiert werden muss. Korrekt?

Aktuell liegt der Unterschied zwischen den beiden Versionen bei 102kb, ist stell mir jetzt die Frage ob das laden der 102kb nicht schneller
ist als die Zeit die ins Land streicht wenn die komprimierte Version erstmal entpackt wird.

Ich rede hier wahrscheinlich von Zeiten unterhalb einer Sekunde aber interessieren würde es mich schon.

i found this usefull script for scrolling pages up completely by clicking to an image
that appears after scrolling the page down.
